Credit Information Services Limited was incorporated in Jamaica on June 2, 1964, as a credit information provider successfully facilitating the sharing of positive and negative data on borrowers. Licensed in August 2014 as a credit bureau CIS continue to provide new and improved services to subscribers in real time.

Doing business in Jamaica requires strong knowledge of Jamaica’s culture, economic conditions, how we live and spend. While significant strides have been made to advance from a cash based economy to a credit driven economy we still have a lot more to cover. This is what makes CIS’s fifty-three years of experience important, and we have translated our knowledge and experience into customizing the system to ensure credit reports are consumer centric and fair.
